Julia I. Colgate
Julia I. Colgate, 71, of Salina, formerly of Junction City, died Mar. 21, 2015 at Salina Regional Health Center. Julia was born Nov. 27, 1943 in Tomah, Wisconsin, the daughter of Willis & Mabel (Ferris) Crouch. She attended schools in Tomah.
Julia worked for many years as a bus driver for J.C. Transportation in Junction City.
Julia married Thomas Colgate, Jr. on Oct. 15, 1978 in Junction City. He died May 21, 1981. Julia later married Willie Mosby. He also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: a son, Thomas Colgate and his wife Holly, Norman, Okla.; 2 daughters, Julie Camese, Salina, and Terri Colgate, Norman, Okla.; 2 brothers, Willis Crouch and wife Mary, and William "Bill" Crouch and wife June, all of Tomah, Wisconsin; 2 sisters, Louise Degler and Ruth Gretsmaucher, both of Tomah, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Vernon and Chester Crouch.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 31, 2015 at Highland Cemetery in Junction City, with Pastor James Callaway presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the M.S.
