Services for Judith Darlene Walls, 53, of Grandview Plaza, KS will be Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the White City United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Norman Simmons officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 30, 2004, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Cremation will follow funeral services. Mrs. Walls passed away at St. Francis Hospital on June 28, 2004. In lieu of flowers family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, c/o Memorial and Honor Program, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
Mrs. Walls was born June 2, 1951 at Dansville, NY to Charles and Helena(Rawleigh) Curry. She worked at the Junction City Crisis Center as a coordinator from 1995 to 1997. she had moved to Grandview Plaza a year ago, previously living in White City. She was a member of the First Christian Church in White City, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Junction City/Fort Riley Bowling Association. She married Jerry Walls October 22, 1977 at Bath, NY, he survives of the home.
She is survived by two sons; Christopher Walls of Chapman and Scott Walls of Grandview Plaza, one daughter; Krystal Walls of Grandview Plaza, four brothers; Edwin Curry of Cameron, NY, Ronald Curry and Robert Curry both of Avoca, NY and Richard Curry of Bath, NY, three sisters; Mary Jean Panzik of Penn Yan, NY, Beverly Sabins of Cohocton, NY and Linda Miller of Avoca, NY and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Charles.
Pallbearers will be Eric McKenzie, Johnnie Bruce, Daryl Ash, Jerry Britt, Steve Ash and Mike Alexander
