Juanita J. Voelcker
Juanita J. "JJ" Voelcker, 71, of Junction City, died Nov. 26, 2015 at her home. Juanita was born July 17, 1944 in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of John W. & Eugenia (Lea) Orndoff. She moved with her family to Arkansas and attended school in Marshall, Arkansas.
Juanita moved to Junction City in 1973. She worked as a Receiving Clerk at Water's True Value Hardware Store for 20 years. Later, she worked at Stacey's Restaurant in Grand View Plaza.
Juanita married Leroy Voelcker on Nov. 22, 1980 in Junction City. He died March 18, 2001. Survivors include: 2 sons, Douglas R. Fellers and his wife Shirley, Minden, Nebraska, and Adam D. Fellers, Centreville, Michigan; 2 daughters, Pattie Treece, Arkansas, and Versa Lea Treece, New Bern, NC; a brother, Leasil Orndoff, Ellinwood, KS; a sister, Judy Goad, Thornton, Colorado; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
It was Juanita's request to be cremated, her ashes scattered in Colorado. and have no services. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel assisting the family with arrangements.
