Graveside services for Juanita May Schwab, 95, of Junction City, KS will be Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Alida Cemetery with Pastor Lewis Smith officiating. No visitation is planned. Juanita passed away on March 20, 2011 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease, 4125 SW Gage Center Dr., Suite LL-15, Topeka KS 66601.
She was born on May 1, 1915 in Kansas City, KS, to William and Minnie (Wilson) Scott.
Juanita graduated from Wakefield High School, class of 1936.
She married Charles Milton Schwab in 1937. Juanita worked in food services for many years including USD #475 she retired in 1977.
She was a member of the 1st Free Methodist Church in Manhattan, KS.
Juanita is survived by one son, Roger Schwab of Marion, KS., and one grandson, Cody of Topeka and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and two sisters Jessie Queen and Peg Rickley.
