Juanita Chamberlain

Funeral Services for Juanita Chamberlain, 76, of Junction City, will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Mass Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue, Junction City, KS with Pastor Leonard Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Manhattan, KS. Visitation will take place on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass Hinitt Chapel. Mrs. Chamberlain passed away on August 7, 2010, at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka, KS. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Second Missionary Baptist Church, 701 W. 10th, Junction City, KS.

She was born on April 12, 1934, in Humnoke, Arkansas, the daughter of Willie Richardson and Nellie (Irvin) Richardson.She married Roy C. Chamberlain on April 23, 1962, in Yakima, Washington. She was employed as a Quarters Custodian at Ft. Riley Army Base for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roy C. Chamberlain of Junction City, KS, One son, Allan Hart of St. Mary's, Kansas, three grandchildren; Michele' Hart Goolsby (Eric) of Manhattan, KS, Alphia R. Hart Elkins (Lamart) of Lawton, OK, Michael R. Hart (Amber) of Topeka, KS, and two great-granddaughters and two great- grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Larry Hart and one daughter, Alphia J. Hart
