Jovonne Payne

A funeral service for Jovonne P. J. Payne, 22, of Junction City, Kansas will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Joe Belardo officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Cremation will follow funeral services. Mr. Payne passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006, at the Geary Community Hospital.



Jovonne was born November 27, 1984, in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Cynthia M. Payne and Willie C. Maxie. Jovonne has resided in Junction City his entire life.



Jovonne attended Junction City High School.



Survivors include his mother Cynthia M. Carter and step father Anthony Carter of Clarksville, TN; one daughter Tionne Payne of Junction City; one brother Anthony Carter, II and one sister Cierra Carter both of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by his grandmother Margot R. Payne of Junction City and his father Willie C. Maxie of Greenville, ILL. and his step mother Brenda Maxie of Ogden, Kansas.
