Funeral services for Josephine I. "Jo" Harding, 93, Junction City will be 10:00am Friday, August 8, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel 805 Caroline, Junction City, KS with Chaplain Rev. Redo Purnell officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Harding passed away August 3, 2008 at her home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church 624 N. Jefferson, Junction City, KS 66441.

Josephine was born May 29, 1915 in Junction City the daughter of Otto and Daisy (Prouty) Schultz. She graduated Junction City High School in 1933. and has been a lifetime resident of Junction City, She married Lawrence R. "Barney" Harding March 20, 1941 in Kansas City, MO., he preceded her in death June 5, 2007.

Survivors include her sister Henrietta Paris, Junction City, KS; her brother Charles W. Schultz, Rockaway Beach, MO and nieces Judy Gardner, Daisy Paris both of Junction City, KS, nephews O.J. Paris Manhattan, KS, Larry Paris Taiwan, ROC, , Bill Paris Santa Rosa CA, Dennis Schultz Missouri/ Hawaii, Mark Schultz Missouri and Steve Schultz Arizona..

Josephine was preceded in death also by her parents, Otto and Daisy Schultz, and brother Clarence S. Schultz.
