Joseph J. "Bud" Johnson, 75, passed away at Midland Care Hospice, Topeka, KS on December 20, 2012. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, Junction City, KS assisted the family with cremation arrangements. Private family memorial services were held.
He was born to Harold and Blanche (Cummings) Johnson on April 17, 1937 in Ogden, KS. Joe worked in the grocery store business at Safeway in retail stock. He grew up in Junction City, KS and moved to Topeka in 1970. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Junction City, KS
He married Glenda Morgan of Winfield, KS in 1957 they later divorced.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Glen "Skip" Johnson.
Joe is survived by his sister Eldora Wunder of Vermillion, SD, his daughter Debby Jo of Topeka, KS and two granddaughter's, ten great grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
Memorials may be designated to Midland Care Hospice of Topeka, 200 Southwest Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
