Graveside services with full military honors for SSG (RET) Jose' Henry Arroyo, 52, Milford, KS will be held at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at 10 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2010, with Father Anthony Kazarnowicz officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2010 with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington Street. Mr. Arroyo passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS.
Mr. Arroyo was born March 17, 1957 the son of Marcos and Nilda(Rivera) Arroyo.
Jose retired from the U.S. Army. After retirement he worked as a power equipment operator for Foot Locker in Junction City.
He married Carmen Garcia July 14, 2006, in Junction City she survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Ricardo Arroyo of Orlando, FL and Daniel Arroyo of Tampa,FL. He is also survived by one granddaughter Kayla Arroyo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Sierra.
