John Andrew Syko
August 23, 1941 — February 1, 2022
John Andrew "Jack" Syko, 80, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Geary Community Hospital. Cremation will take place. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m.
Jack was born August 23, 1941, in Windber, PA, the son of Andrew George and Mary Elizabeth (Keefer) Syko.
Jack served in the United States Army for several years. Jack worked many years in DFAS and as a Civil Servant at Irwin Army Community Hospital. Jack attended St. Xavier Catholic Church.
On August 17, 1989, he married Vidala Valasquez. She passed away November 19, 2018.
Survivors include one son, Dale A. Syko; one brother, David A. Syko; one sister, Mary Lou Syko; a host of other relatives and friends.
