Services for John Larry Ziegenhirt, Sr., 62 of Junction City, KS will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Chaplain Edmiston will officiate, burial will be at Highland Cemetery. John died February 2, 2002 at Geary Community Hospital. He was born July 13, 1939 at Riley, KS to Carl Sr. and Edith (Colthrop) Ziegenhirt. He married Micheline (Gilbert) April 8, 1960 in France, she survives of the home, John was a lifetime mechanic. He is survived by Two Sons; John Ziegenhirt, Jr. and George Ziegenhirt both of Junction City, KS, Five Daughters; Edith Kidd, Martine Padilla and Barbara Vanik all of Junction City, KS, Geraldine Rummelt of MI, Michelle Hunter of CA, Two Brothers; Carl Ziegenhirt, Jr. and Robert Ziegenhirt both of Alta Vista, KS, Three Sisters; Bonita Sisson and Delpha Longan both of Council Grove, KS and Linda Claugh of Alta Vista, KS, Seven Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one uncle. Casket bearers; Christopher Ziegenhirt, John Ziegenhirt, Jr., George Ziegenhirt, Thomas Vanik, Alex Padilla, Robert Ziegenhirt, Joseph Kidd and Terry Kidd.
