John J. Cameron
Graveside services for John J. Cameron, 71, of Alta Vista, KS will be 2 p.m, Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the Humboldt Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Roberts of the First Christian Church officiating. Mr. Cameron passed away at the Alta Vista Senior Citizens Center on December 25, 2006. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS 66601-9865. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Cameron was born April 26, 1935, Geary County, KS to L.J. (Jack) and Thalia (Sheets) Cameron. He graduated from Junction City High School in 1953. Mr. Cameron lived and farmed in Geary County his entire life until he moved to the Alta Vista Senior Citizens Center in 1999. He was married to Mildred Cain.
He is survived by one brother Jerry Cameron of Pottsboro, TX
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mildred.
