John Bradford Payne

Funeral services for John Bradford Payne, 45, Junction City, KS will be 2 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2008 at First Christian Church 1429 St. Mary's Road, Junction City, KS with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. Cremation will take place following the services. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. John passed away August 16, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center in Topeka, KS following a motorcycle accident. Memorial contributions may be made in John's name and sent in care of the funeral home.

John was born to Hollis and Sue Ann (Ellis) Payne March 10, 1963 in Fort Benning, GA. He was a talented cabinet maker and musician. He had worked for Horizons for over 14 years. He was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Rachel Seamans, Joe, Tamara and Jimmy Innes; his parents Gene and Sue Hudson, Junction City, his grandchildren; Charles Seamans and John Seamans of Seattle WA, Aiden Gordon of Odgen, KS and Elizabeth Innes of Kansas City, MO, his sister and brother-in-law; Cinder and husband Sandy Jackson of Pleasant Hill, MO and his Stepmother; Ingold Payne of Fayetteville, NC.

John was preceded in death by his biological father Hollis Payne.

Pallbearers will be Rick Garber, Roger Boltz, John Farrow, Todd Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Sandy Jackson and Charlie Strauss.
