A memorial service will for JoAnn M. Nater, 69, of Junction City will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2007, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington. Inurnment will follow the memorial service at Fort Riley Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, Overland Park Office, 10580 Barkley Suite 400, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
Mrs. Nater was born November 1, 1937, Poughkeepsie, NY to Edward W. and Bernice (Shibilo) Rosell. She married Luis J. Nater April 15, 1970, in Columbus, Georgia. He survives. She worked for the Childcare Development Center at Fort Riley, Kansas she retired in 1996. She enjoyed bowling and boating.
She is survived by four brothers, Edward "Pete" Rosell of Richmond, VA; Henry "Skip" Rosell of Hyde Park, NY; Robert "Bob" Rosell of Pilot Mountain, NC and Paul Rosell of Junction City, she is also survived by one sister, Patricia "Patty" Rosell of Junction City.
