Jessie Lee Roberts

Graveside services for Jessie Lee Roberts, 47, Junction City, KS will be at Highland Cemetery at 11 am, Friday, August 7, 2009 with Dr. Leonard Gray officiating. Visitation will take place at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel at 9 am Friday until 10:30 am. Jessie passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Salina Regional Hospital following an extended illness.

Jessie was born December 18, 1961 at Fort Riley, KS the son of Emanuel and Thula Roberts, Sr. He was raised in Junction City and worked in various positions in the Junction City area, until he moved to James town, New York and while in New York he worked as a Security Guard and as a Cook.

Jessie is survived by his wife, Julie, son Mythies L. Brown, three brothers Emanuel, John, and Arthur; twin sister Bessie May Martin and Sister Arlene Lacy, all of Junction City. Also survived by his mother Thula Roberts, Junction City, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Emanuel Roberts, Sr.
