Jerry was born May 18, 1941, in Lakeview, MI, the son of Robert and June (Imhoff) Hall.

He married Noreen O’Connor on October 27, 1964, in Crailsheim, Germany. Together, they had 5 children and shared 42 years of marriage until her death in 2007.

Jerry enlisted in the United States Army on September 15, 1959. He served one tour in Vietnam and
gave 20 years of selfless service to a military career. He was very proud of his time serving in the military and his time spent at Fort Riley, KS. It was his assignment to Fort Riley that established his family's residency in Junction City in 1978.

After his military retirement in 1979, Jerry became the service manager at Don Coats Chevrolet. After working at Don Coats Chevrolet, he became a small business entrepreneur owning Central Auto Parts and Hall’s Retail Liquor. His small business ventures allowed him to pursue government contracting jobs. Jerry was a co-founder of Contract Services. He later became owner of Noran Inc. His contract services also encompassed the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He officially retired from all business capacities in 2008.

Some of Jerry's hobbies included racing cars at the speedway on Friday night. He also enjoyed a good game of golf and spending time with his friends and colleagues at the American Legion. He was a giving soul, proud of his family, and a good friend to many. His lively personality left a legacy of lifetime friendships. Jerry will be fondly remembered, greatly missed and forever loved.
