Jerald "Jerry" Evan Keene, 59, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Geary Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place. The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
Jerry was born December 26, 1961 in Abilene, KS the son of Irvin and JeanEva (Rose) Keene.
He attended Junction City High School. After receiving his GED, he attended Salina Vocational Technical School where he received his certification in welding. He worked as a self employed welder manufacturing farm and agricultural equipment. He belonged to the American Legion Post #248 in Lagro, IN. Jerry lived in Wabash, IN with his family for ten years.
He married Kathy Jo White in 1991in Kingman, KS.
Survivors include his wife Kathy of the home in Junction City; twin daughters, Angela Fox and Brittany Light; one son, Jerald Evan "J.D." Keene, II; mother, JeanEva Gaarder; one brother, James Keene.
He was preceded in death by his father Irvin Keene.
