Jennifer Gail Amick Pigg passed away at her home on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the age of 24.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 19th at First Christian Church, 1429 St. Mary's Road with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Hills Cemetery, Chapman, KS. Visitation will be Thursday, August 18th, 5p.m. to 9 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street.
Jennifer was born on March 17, 1987, Jeffersonville, IN the daughter of Lee and Kim Welsh and Mike and Chris Pigg.
Being a military dependant she attended elementary schools around the world, her junior and senior high school years were in the Chapman school district. At the time of her death she was a stay at home mom.
She is survived by her son, Jaedyn of the home, her parents Lee and Kim Welsh of Junction City and Mike and Chris Pigg of Laquey, MO, her brothers, Robert Pigg of Swannanoa, NC, Quinn Boland and Dakoda Pigg both of Laquey, MO, her sister, Haylee Welsh of Junction City, grandmother, Pat Welsh of Chapman, KS, grandmother, Peggy Pigg of Galion, OH and grandfather, Robert Amick of Scottsburg, IN, great-grandparents, Donald and Rose Mary Riha of Fort Atkinson, IA and great-grandmother, Francis Amick of Scottsburg, IN, one niece, Cadence Pigg of Swannanoa, NC and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, J.J. Amick, grandparents Leon and Delores Booher and great-grandfather, Homer Amick.
