Jennifer Dawn Hudson

Jennifer Dawn Hudson, 59, of Junction City, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Valley View Senior Life in Junction City. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Living Word International Ministry 1704 St. Mary's Road in Junction City. Bishop Clarence Williams will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. A visitation will be held 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington Street.

She was born on May 10, 1955, in Kingston, Jamaica.

Jennifer worked as a Child Care Worker at the CDC at Fort Riley. She was a member of the Living Word International Ministry in Junction City. Jennifer was a kind hearted Christian Lady. She enjoyed studying the word of God and would counsel the men and women she would come in contact with.

She married Hansen Coates. He survives.

Survivors include one son, Michael Coates of St. Louis, MO, one daughter, Chantel Coates of Junction City, KS, one brother, Wayne Thompson of Long Island, NY and three sisters, Altheia Thompson of Junction City, KS, Stacey Jones of Junction City, KS and Judy Alexis of Brooklyn, NY.
