Services for Jean M. Long, 69, of Junction City, KS will be held at the Legacy Community Church, 528 E. Flinthills Blvd.(Grandview Plaza) Tuesday, June 3, 2003, 2:00 p.m. Pastor Phil Thompson of the Legacy Community Church will officiate. Jean died May 29, 2003 at KU Medical Center, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be Monday, June 2, 2003, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, KS Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Animals, P.O. Box 580, Junction City, KS 66441. Jean was born March 31, 1934 at Shamokin, PA to George and Ann ( Roughton) Rohrer. She graduated in 1953, Coal Township, PA. Jean married Roy Long, January of 1955, they later divorced. Jean had lived in Junction City, KS from 1970-1988 before moving to Bradenton, Florida, she resided there for 13 years before moving back to Junction City, KS in 2001. She was a home maker and a member of the Legacy Community Church. Survivors: Ex Husband; Roy Long, Two Daughters; Carolyn Long and Marsha Long both of Junction City, KS, One Sister; Pat Yost of New Jersey. Preceded in death by Parents, One Sister; Lois Long. Casket bearers: Bryan Bennett, John Peters, Stuart Hays, Geoffrey Duncan, Randy Nichols and Brett Cox.
