Funeral Services for Jean E. Kamm, 75, Overland Park, Kansas will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008, at the Zion United Church of Christ. Pastor Russ Glaser will officiate. A visitation will be 6 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow the service at St. John's Cemetery. Mrs. Kamm passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center due to complications with Polymyalgia. Memorial contributions may be given to the Zion United Church of Christ 1811 McFarland Road Junction City, Kansas 66441.



ean was born July 13, 1933, in Junction City, Kansas the daughter of Fred and Irene (Hartung) Schweitzer. She moved to Overland Park, Kansas in 2000.





Jean worked for U.S.D. # 475 in the Food Service Department for 29 years. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ when she resided in Junction City, Kansas.





She married Allen R. Kamm September 7, 1952. He survives.





Other survivors include three daughters. Pamela Jones and her husband James of Overland Park, Kansas; Janet Myers and her husband John of Shawnee, Kansas and Annette Wells and her husband Troy of Lenexa, Kansas. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Jacqueline Myers, Jessica Wells and Jenna Wells.
