Jayson Wayne Cynova, 52, of Junction City, Kansas died on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas from injuries sustained in a tragic pedestrian accident.
A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to be given to the Midwest Transplant Network.
Jayson was born October 29, 1971, in Junction City, Kansas the son of James W. and Barbara L. (Lesher) Cynova.
Jayson graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1990. After high school graduation, he attended UTI in Phoenix, Arizona and studied automotive technology. He worked at Bud's Wrecker Service, a family owned and operated business. Jayson was very mechanically inclined and was known to make his own tools. He worked long hours taking care of many strangers and customers that were stranded.
He enjoyed motorcycles, woodworking, engine repair, coaching baseball, coaching YMCA sports, Nascar and any form of car racing, wrestling, fishing and anything outdoors.
On September 7, 1991 he married Donna Joy Adams. They were later divorced. He later married Monica Jane Nicholson. They were later divorced.
Survivors include five sons, Ben (Megan), Alex, Nick (Tyra), Nate (Shy) and Jacob; two daughters, Madison and Samantha; four grandchildren, Noah, Jeremiah, Lilah and Everly; father and mother, James and Barbara Cynova, all of Junction City, Kansas.
