Funeral services with Full Military Honors for James L. "Jim" Osborne, 66, of Milford, KS, will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with a U.S. Army Chaplain officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, from 5pm-7pm at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street. James passed away June 19, 2010, at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle St, Suite 1500, Chicago, Il. 60604.

He was born on April 3, 1944 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of Taylor and Frances (Rosco) Osborne.

He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1983, and was honorably discharged from Ft. Riley, KS.

He married Karola Zimpelmann in Germany on July 2, 1965, she survives of the home.

Other survivors include one brother, Dodge Osborne and wife Charlotte of Newark, Ohio, and a sister-in-law, Mary Osborne, two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Taylor and one sister, Rita Campbell.
