Funeral services for James E. Smith, 53, of Junction City will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Korean Grace Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Joe Belardo and Pastor Kim officiating. Cremation will follow the service with inurnment at a later date. Visitation will be held at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 3p.m.-8p.m. with a wake service at 7p.m. Mr. Smith passed away at Mercy Regional Health Center on Friday, July 22, 2011. Memorials have been designated to the Korean Grace Baptist Church, 629 Grant Ave., Junction City, KS 66441.
James was born July 17, 1958 in Corinth, Mississippi to Estelle Settle. He later married In Sun Lee.
James worked as a Material Equipment Handling Operator at Armour Eckrich and he was a devoted Christian.
He is survived by his wife, In Sun Banul and a step-son Edward Banul both of the home. A cousin, Brenda Harris of Paduka, KY.
James is preceded in death by his parents.
