James C. White (J.C.) was born April 27, 1930 in Belton, SC the son Charles And Connie (Williams) White. He departed this life October31, 2005 at his home in Junction City, KS. He united with Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church in Ypsilanti, MI under the pastorship of Rev. Thomas Smith.
He was discharged from the US Army at Fort Riley in 1958and made Junction City his home. He worked with the City Department of Junction City for over 20 years.
He attended Church of Our Savior Methodist Church.
He leaves to mourn 5 sisters, Mrs Eugenia Fuller, Mrs. Mayme Johnson, Ms. Connie, Jerie and Maxine White all of Ypsilanti, MI, : five brothers, James White, Charles White,Wiley White, AlvinWhite and Michael White all of Ypsilanti, MI. Many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
His parents, Charles and Connie White and one sister Ruby McCoy preceded him in death.
Cremation is planned and a memorial service will be held at 3:00p.m. Sunday November 13, 2005 at Church of Our Savior Methodist Church.
