Jacqueline Brown, 50, of Junction City, died on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at her home. Cremation has taken place with the assistance of the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the VFW #8773, 1215 S. Washington Street with Reverend Redo Purnell officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to an organization of donor's choice.
Jacqueline was born December 7, 1961, Shreveport, LA to Rufus and Eula (Jackson) Sanders. She worked as a custodian for USD 475 and attended Second Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the World Wide Fraternity of Turtles.
She is survived by her mother Eula of Los Angeles, CA, two daughters; Tiffany Brown of Phoeniz, AZ and Tamika Brown of Junction City, KS, one brother; Melvin Peyton of Shreveport, LA, and three sisters; Raquel Jackson of Los Angeles, CA, Pam Peyton and Doloras Peyton both of Shreveport, LA.
She was preceded in death by her father.
