Jack Dee Wisby

Graveside services for Jack "Jackie" Dee Wisby, 59 of Valley Center, KS will be Thursday, August 16, 2007, 11 a.m. at Wreford Cemetery with Reverend Paul Wolf officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue. Memorial contributions may be given in Jack's name to New Hope Services, P.O. Box 186, Valley Center, KS 67147. Mr. Wisby died on August 10, 2007 at New Hope Services.

Mr. Wisby was born November 24, 1947 at Indianapolis, IN to Melvin L. and Monitta L. (Mears) Wisby. He had been a resident of Valley Center for 30 years. He did assembly work through New Hope for Boeing for many years. He was an avid participant in the Special Olympics winning numerous medals and ribbons in running, bowling and tennis and loved to watch wrestling and baseball.

He is survived by one brother; Ken Wisby of Junction City, KS and one sister; Maiya Ullmer also of Junction City, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jean Altenor, Steve Bush, John Gerber, Brian Holstein, Eugene Patry and Jordon Peters.
