Irmgard "Bobby" Branche
Irmgard "Bobby" Branche, 83, of Junction City, died Mar. 28, 2015 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. Irmgard was born Feb. 16, 1932 in Munich, Germany, the daughter of August and Maria Fritz Kirschner.
Bobby was the former owner & operator of Branche Puppy Farm in Junction City. She also did much volunteer work with wounded soldiers and the Indian Nation. She was an avid Bingo player and often went to the casinos.
Bobby married Norwood T. Branche on Mar. 14, 1967 in Munich, Germany. Norwood died April 11, 1995. Survivors include: a daughter, Novella Olson and husband Scott; a granddaughter, Michelle Olson; and a great granddaughter, Cienna Olson, all of Junction City; a sister, Lina Fritz, Munich, Germany.
A memorial graveside service will be 10:00 a.m, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Ft. Riley Post Cemetery, with Fr. Peter O'Donnell presiding. Memorial conrtributions may be made to the Friends of Animals, sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441.
