Services for Inge "Hanna" Hernandez, 71 of Junction City, KS will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, Tuesday, September 10, 2002, at 11:00 a.m.
Pastor Brad Dyrness will officiate. Inge died September 5, 2002 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be held Monday, September 9, 2002, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, KS. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 1315 W. Ash St., Junction City, KS and/or American
Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, KS 66604. Inge was born June 21, 1931, Idar-Oberstein Germany to Ernst Adolf and Elisabeth (Drauschke)Grote.
She married Sixto Hernandez-Reyes, July 4, 1957, Idar-Oberstein, Germany, he preceded her in death May 6, 1988. She worked for USD 475 for 16 years, she worked as a crossing guard at Washington Elementary and for food service from November of 1982 through June of 1988. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Survivors: One Son; Robert Hernandez of Junction City, KS, Two Daughters; Isabel Hernandez of Junction City, KS and Evelyn M. Hernandez of Goodland, KS, One Brother;Klaus Grote of Germany and One Sister; Annamarie Reyes-Cintron of New Jersey. Preceded In Death By: Parents. Casket bearers: Brad Angell, Verl Case, Steve Roles, doyle Rushing, Gordon Schmidt and Randy Tholstrup. Organist, Marilyn Rothfuss, Vocalist, Debbie Dyrness.
