Hubert J. Disberger

Mass of Christian Burial for Hubert "Jim" Disberger, 82, of Junction City will be held 10:00 a.m. March 2, 2006 at St. Xavier's Catholic Church with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Disberger passed away February 27, 2006 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington with the parish rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Xavier's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 399, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mr. Disberger was born July 29, 1923 in Junction City, KS the son of Hubert J. and Mary (Witt) Disberger. He graduated from St. Xavier's High School. Hubert "Jim" owned and operated D & D Mobil Service Station retiring in the late 1980's. He sponsored Stock Car Racing at J Hill and was a member of The Knights of Columbus and the Eagles Lodge.

He is survived his stepchildren, Denise Pierson, Hanover, KS, Beth Veltman, Junction City, KS, Danny Nelson, Junction City, KS, Stuart Nelson, Enterprise, KS and Jeannine Baughman, Salina, KS, eleven grandchildren, eighteen Great-Grandchildren and two nephews, three great nephews, two great nieces and four great-great nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Scott Pierson, Matt Pierson, Larry Veltman, Jeremy Baughman, Justin Nelson, Danny Nelson, and Chris Nelson.
