Services for Howard Henry Tate, 39, of White City, KS will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel,Thursday,February 14, 2002,3:00 p.m. Tim Gordon of the White City Christian Church will officiate. Howard died February 9, 2002 in a car accident.Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, 2002, 1:00 p.m. to time of service at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Cremation is planned following the service. Memorials may be made to the Geary County Fish & Game Association, P.O. Box 631, Junction City, KS 66441. Howard was born December 8, 1962, Natchitoches, LA to Clyde and Ermadell (Buffer) Tate. He married Barbara Smith, November 24, 2001 at White City, KS.Howard moved to White City, KS September of 2001, prior to that he lived in Sunset, LA. He was employed with the City of Junction City as a Equipment Operator for the Public Works Department. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. Survivors: Wife: Barbara Tate of White City, Mother; Ermadell of Natchitoches, LA, One Step-Son; Nate Senchy of California, One Step-Daughter; Lara Patterson of Bossier City,LA, Two Brothers; Glenn Tate of Natchitoches, LA and Vernon Robert Clemons of White City, KS, Two Sisters; Betty Ann of CA and Kathy Davis of LA and Three grandchildren he was preceded in death by his Father.
