Hisako Theresa Johnson
Hisako Theresa Johnson, 83, of Junction City, passed away April 20, 2015 at Geary Community Hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1931 in Yokahama, Japan.
Hisako moved to Junction City with her husband in 1968. She was a retired seamstress. She and her husband attended St. Xavier Catholic Church.
Hisako married Lawrence Johnson on Feb. 2, 1954 in Yokahama. Lawrence died Oct. 5, 1985. Other survivors include: two brothers-in-law, Harold Johnson, and Charles Johnson, III; 3 three sisters-in-law, Fabiola Lewis, Catherine Walker, and Anna LeBlanc. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2015 at Ft. Riley Post Cemetery, with Fr. Kerry Ninemire presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation, sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441.
