Hildegard E. Keller, 77, of Dwight, KS, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 24, 2018.
Family will have a private gathering at a later date.
Hilde was born on April 16, 1940, in Durlach, Germany to Ludwig and Erika (Stoltz) Fetzer. She grew up in Germany. As a young lady she met James (Jim) S. Keller, a young soldier with the United States Army. They married in Durlach, Germany on April 19, 1960. The family moved to many duty stations throughout the United States and Europe with Jim's military obligation. They ultimately settled in Dwight, KS.
Hilde was a dedicated family woman. She was a mother to all she knew.
She will be dearly missed.
Hilde is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Sandy and husband Randy Fetters of Dwight, KS; son, Hal and wife Peggy Keller of Junction City, KS; two grandchildren, Randy Fetters, Jimmy and wife Jamie Fetters; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Wolfgang Fetzer of Germany; sister, Inge Stoltz of Germany; and many loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim (Pop) Keller and her parents, Erika M. and Ludwig Fetzer.
Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, of Junction City, is assisting with arrangements.
