Hildegard Boucher

Funeral services for Hildegard Boucher, 81 of Junction City will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington St. Burial will follow at Fort Riley Cemetery. Mrs. Boucher passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the Sterling House. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home Care and Hospice C/O Geary Community Healthcare foundation, P.O. Box 3015 Junction City, KS 66441 or may be left with Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.

Hildegard was born August 3, 1928 to Morris and Theresa (Busiengar) Untersecher in Thannhaun, Germany. She married Claude Boucher June 6, 1955. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1995. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Eagles, DAV and the NARFE. Hildegard worked for the Quarter Master as a Presser of Laundry for Fort Riley for 22 years retiring in 1981.

She is survived by her sisters, Maria Phelps of Nashville, TN; Erna Uterseher and Rosa Lepold both of Germany. A step-daughter Virginia Robinette of Albany, GA. A niece Lore Phelps of Nashville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband Claude Boucher and her parents.
