Hilary Walker

A funeral service will 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2007, at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel for E-6 Hilary Walker, 59, U.S. Army (Ret) Junction City, Kansas. Mr. Walker passed away Monday, April 2, 2007, at the Geary Community Hospital. The Reverend Dr. Joe Belardo will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Fort Riley Cemetery. A visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel.



Hilary was born April 17, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the son of Moses and Anneace (Smith) Walker.



Mr. Walker retired from the U.S. Army after twenty years of service. He served in Korea and Vietnam. After retirement from the Army, he worked in the Director of Logistics Department at Fort Riley until his death.



He married Chong Ku, July 4, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She survives of the home.



Other surviviors include his mother Anneace Brown of Junction City, Kansas. He is also survived by one brother and four sisters.



He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
