Hermoine Milleson

Graveside services for Hermoine Milleson, 94, will be held Saturday, September 30, 2006, 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery with Reverend Joyce Allen officiating. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Milleson passed away on September 24, 2006 at the John Knox Village Care Center, Lees Summit, MO. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Milleson was born April 13, 1912, Hanston, Kansas to Jesse R. and Mae (Widdoes) Payton. She was a conservatory trained pianist who taught piano for over 40 years. She was a long time resident of Junction City before moving to John Knox Village in 1996. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Junction City where she was the former President of the United Methodist Women and the Church Women United. She was a sponsor of youth fellowship and taught Sunday School and was a member of USO Board.

She married Ross V. Milleson September 30, 1932, Salina, KS, he preceded her in death September 30, 1969.

She is survived by eleven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.
