Services for Henry Tom Houston, 61, of Junction City, KS will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Friday, November 1, 2002, at 2:00 p.m.
Reverend Dr. Bert Buurman and Pastor Darel Boston will officiate. Henry died October 29, 2002 at his residence. Visitation will be Thursday, October 31, 2002, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, KS. and/or Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 3 Forest Street, New Canaan, CT 06840. Henry was born September 25, 1941, Keller, TX (Tarrant County) to John Paul and Yoshie Houston and Lora Porter. Henry married Judy (Beavers) Hopper July 2, 1981, in Junction City, KS she survives of the home. Henry served in the US Army in Germany with the Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol from 1958 to 1961, he moved to Junction City, KS in 1962, he was a fireman with the Junction City Fire Department, he retired from the fire department as Captain after 32 years of service in 1994, he also owned and operated his own lawn care service from 1986 until 1999. Henry was a member of the First United Methodist Church,
Mason Lodge #7 and the Isis Shriners.
