Helen Jeannine Webber, 75, of Milford, KS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at her home in Milford after battling cancer since 2009. Cremation will take place. A memorial service and celebration service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home.
Helen was born October 7, 1946, in Superior, NE the daughter of Jasper Edward and Dorothy Fern (Bowman) Hobbs.
Helen worked for over thirty five years at the Walmart in Junction City, KS. She was a Walk of Life Participant for many years. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle and taking trips with other friends on motorcycles. Helen enjoyed reading, working puzzles and gardening. She enjoyed watching the television programs Survivor, Young and the Restless and Judge Judy. One of her favorite things to do was to travel to Nebraska to visit her sister and attend church, attend Nebraska Passport and Street Car Days.
She enjoyed spending time with the love of her life Mike Ammann. He passed away January 23, 2015.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jeannine Ann Tipton of Milford, KS and Candi Lee Webber of Watkins, CO; one sister, Sara Ellen Richards and her husband Jim of Red Cloud, NE; grandchildren, Janelle, Jasmine, Crystal, Matthew and Racheal; eight greatgrandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of other nephews, nieces and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her life companion Mike Ammann, grandson, Levi and parents, two brothers, Lester and Ulayn.
