Heinrich "Henry" Engelbert Schneider, 49, Junction City, Kansas, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place for family and close friends. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel has assisted the family with cremation services. A Henry Schneider memorial fund has been established and donations may be left in care of the funeral home.



Henry was born October 21, 1958, in Munich Germany the son of Johann and Magdalena Beldzig Schneider.



Henry was a member of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve. He was a German at heart and an American by citizenship on February 19, 1999. Henry was always ready to lend a hand to help.



Survivors include his mother, Magdalena Rohr, twin sister Angelika Matthews, brother John Beldzig, Sr. and his wife Caril, and nephew John Beldzig, Jr. all of Junction City, Kansas. He is also survived by his neice Michelle Jones and her husband Trenton of Ft. Riley, Kansas. His surviving family in Munich Germany include, Onkel Rudy and Tante Dora Weber and children, Tante Christa and Onkel Hans Knogler, Tante Margot Beldzig and his cousins, Ida Eppinger and her husband Fritz, Hannerl Knogler, Miguel Eppinger and Peter Beldzig and their families.



He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Willhelm and Gertrude Beldzig and his uncles, Willie, Engelbert and Adolf Beldzig all of Munich, Germany.
