Hedwig M. "Margaret" Langley, 83, of Junction City, KS, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Valley View Senior Life Center. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2019, at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Ken Stout officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.

Margaret was born the youngest of thirteen children on January 6, 1936, in Lekeciai, Lithuania the daughter of Johan and Anna Vogt.

Margaret worked for Whitaker Cable Company, Russell Stover Candy Factory and USD # 475. She attended Bethany Methodist Church in rural Abilene, KS.

She married Lawrence Lazear in Stuttgart, Germany while he was stationed there in the United States Army. They were transferred to Ft. Riley, KS. where they were later divorced. She later married Gilbert Langley on November 7, 1969 in Junction City, KS. He passed away June 22, 1982.

Survivors include one son, Edward Lazear and his wife Lori of Junction City, KS; three daughters, Debbie Gose of Junction City, KS, Cynthia Cronin and her husband Daniel of Dwight, KS and Frances Hoffa and husband Donald of Crawfordsville, IN; two step-daughters, Merri Elkins of Milwaukee, WI and Linda Wisner of Topeka, KS; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother and eleven sisters.
