Hazel Jean Renninger, 89, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Geary Community Hospital. Prior to her death, she was a resident at Valley View Senior Life. Due to COVID-19, Hazel will have a private burial at Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Geary County Animal Shelter.
She was born on February 27, 1931, in Mt. Olivet, Kentucky the daughter of Adam Thomas and Lettie Marie (Ogden) Benson.
Hazel grew up in Northern Kentucky and lived in Cincinnati, OH. before relocating to Ft. Riley, KS in the mid 1950's.
She was married to Bradford McIntosh. She later married Donald Renninger who preceded her in death. Donald and Hazel lived in Junction City, Kansas.
Those left to mourn her loss are her loving daughters, Paulette McIntosh of Washington, KS, Jerri McIntosh of Junction City, KS; Kathleen Jury and her husband Steve of Hillsboro, KS and one step-daughter Dianne Devine of El Paso, TX. She is survived by her grandchildren, Lacy Guiot, Amber Guiot both of Junction City, KS, Kyle Jury and wife Rachel Jury of Salina, KS, Benjamin Jury and wife Elizabeth of Topeka, KS and Olivia Jury of Hillsboro, KS. and two great-grandchildren.
