Harriett Ann Baca, 73, of Milford, passed away on October 11, 2013 at Salina Regional Health Center. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Junction City, Kansas, with Pastor James Callaway officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, First Baptist Church of Junction City and the American Heart Association.
She was born on December 16, 1939, Indianapolis, IN to Karl and Nellie (Rothhaas) Svendsen.
Ann was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church; Milford Lions Club and served as the district Historian, Red Hat Society; Troubadours Singer; Walla Walla Extension Unit; Geary County Senior Center; Vendor Coordinator for the Geary County Free Fair, she had previously served as the President of the Junction City Sundowners Lions Club.
On September 3, 1988 she married Mike Baca, Mike and Ann lived in Milford, Kansas.
Ann is survived by her loving Husband, Mike, her Sons, Robert Lane (Julie) of Topeka, KS, David Lane (Candice) of Manhattan, KS; Daughters, Marsha Taylor (Steve) of Salina, KS, Debbie Jensen (Don) of Manhattan, KS, Debbie Foose (Jim) of Dwight, IL, Rachel Dunham (Jeff) of PA, 17 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren,.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Jack Lane.
