Memorial services for Gregg C. Wagner, 57, of Geary County, KS will be Tuesday, April 13, 2004, 10 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, Junction City. Pastor Rockey Ratts will officiate. Cremation has been chosen and a private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Mr. Wagner died April 8, 2004 at Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS 66601-9865 or Basic Cancer Research, Kansas State University, 1700 Anderson Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502-9909.
Gregg was born March 23, 1947, in Junction City, Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Wagner. He was a graduate of Chapman High School. Gregg was a farmer, mechanic for Bobby Dickson, and an expert mechanic on John Deere machinery. He was a member of 4-H and the Helicopter Association.
Survivors include his mother, Pearl Wagner of Geary County, KS; one brother, (Ret. Maj.) Max Wagner of Fort Walton Beach, FL; one niece, and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry R. Wagner February 15, 1991.
