Funeral services for Grace Ruth Stites, 75, of Junction City will be Thursday, January 19, 2006, 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor James Callaway officiating. Visitation will be Wed., January 18, 2006, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2006, 10:00 a.m. in Bear Butte Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota. Mrs. Stites passed away January 16, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church, 624 N. Jefferson, Junction City, KS 66441.
Mrs. Stites was born September 5, 1930, Lake Norden, SD to F.E. and Ruth A. (Carlson) Lindgren. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was married to Kenneth Hauge November 18, 1950, Lake Norden, SD. He preceded her in death February 20, 1980. She later married Lowell F. Stites in 1982, Junction City, KS, he preceded her in death December 26, 2005.
She is survived by two sons, Todd D. Hauge and Timothy S. Hauge both of Henderson, NV, two daughters, Teri L. Bestgen and Tami K. Hauge both Montana, five step-sons, Kenneth Stites of TX, Donald Stites and Rodney Stites both of Tennessee, Robert Stites and James Stites both of Kansas, fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Doris Johnson.
