Grace G. Fish, 82, of Junction City, KS passed away February 23, 2012 at Valley View Senior Life Center. Cremation is taking place with the assistance of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church, 624 N. Jefferson Street with Pastor James Callaway officiating. She will be inurned with her husband Jesse and son James at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 4125 SW Gage Center Drive, Ste.LL-15, Topeka, KS 66601.
Grace was born February 28, 1929 to Fred F. and Ethel M. (Burnside) Howe. She married Jesse L. Fish, Aug. 17, 1947, Fayette, IA he preceded her in death Dec. 15, 2000.
Grace was a homemaker.
She is survived by three children; Connie (John) Landen of Land O'Lakes, FL., Melvin Fish of Junction City, KS and Karen (Jerry) gill of Crossett, AR, two sisters; Arlene Alley of West Union, IA and Kathleen (Joyce) Fish of Junction City, KS, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Linda Fish, son, James Fish, her sister, Dolly Booth and six brothers; Donald, Howard, Lyle, William Robert and Frederick.
