Gloria J. Krumwiede, 72, of Junction City, KS, formerly of Ft. Wayne, IN passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Geary Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Gloria was born January 30, 1949, in Ft. Wayne, IN the daughter of L. John and Druscilla (Lugibihl) Roose.
She graduated from North Side High School with the class of 1966. She attended Indiana Business College. Gloria worked for Kent County Airport in Grand Rapids, MI, United States Custom Services in Indianapolis and later as a billing clerk for Fed Ex in Indianapolis. She enjoyed volunteering at her daughter's schools. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, IN before moving on to the Zion Lutheran Church near Grand Rapids, MI.
She married Allen L. Krumwiede October 28, 1967, in Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Survivors include her husband Allen of the home; one son, Michael A. Krumwiede of Greencastle, IN; one daughter, Shannon Jones and husband Michael of Junction City, KS; one brother, Walter Roose of Ft. Wayne, IN; five, grandchildren, Heather, Nicklaus, Rebecca, Zachariah and Alexandra; one great-grandson, Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Ricky and one daughter-in-law, Kathy
