Gloria D. Hayter

Funeral services for Gloria D. Hayter, 70, of Junction City, KS will be 1 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington with Pastor James Callaway of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28, 2008, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Mrs. Hayter passed away at Good Samaritan Nursing Home on May 25, 2008. Memorial contributions may be given to the Miller Chemotherapy Unit, c/o the Geary Community Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mrs. Hayter was born July 28, 1937 in Junction City, KS to Otto and Lelia May (Benning) Wunder. She married Earl E. Hayter August 13, 1965 in Abilene, KS she was a home maker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Earl of Junction City, one daughter; Brenda Isom and husband Les of Manhattan, KS, two brothers; LeRoy Carl Wunder and wife Eldora of Vermillion, SD, Gene E. Wunder of Niland, CA and step-brother; Jerry Tork and wife Dominga of Clinton, MD, two sisters; Jackie Langvardt and husband Larry, Marcine Sheaffer and husband Dave all of Junction City, KS, two grandsons; Jordan Kelly and Garrett Isom both of Manhattan, KS and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister; Wanda Cohen and one brother; William (Bill) Wunder.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Kelly, Kenny Sheaffer, Roger Sheaffer, Mick Wunder, Terry Wunder and Tim Wunder.

Musicians will be Florence Whitebread, Organist and Rick Munson, Soloist
