Gertrude J. Kilgore

Memorial services for Gertrude "Trudy" J. Kilgore, 73, Junction City will be 1 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington with Chaplain Redo Purnell officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will follow at Fort Riley Cemetery. Mrs. Kilgore passed away January 25, 2007 at her home. Family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to service on Thursday. Gertrude was born March 30, 1933 in Drouzkovice, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Emil and Marie (Leretzova) Sebranek. The family moved to Nurnberg, West Germany in 1946. She worked at Pizza Hut from 1984-1988. She married Herbert Hofrichter in 1951, he died in 1973. She married Clifford Kilgore May 19, 1980 at Fort Riley, he survives at the home.

Other survivors include two daughters Sabine Morgan, Junction City, and Gerlinde Blank, Nurnberg, Germany; sister Maria Johnson, St. Paul, MN and brother Gerhard Sebranek, Nurnberg, Germany; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Helma Sebranek, Margit Jandl, and Erna Frank.
