A Mass of Christian Burial for Geraldine A. "Gerri" Davidson, 66, 0f Junction City will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2008 at St. Xavier Catholic Church with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 4, 2008, 6-8 p.m.with a vigil scripture service at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. Mrs. Davidson passed away at her residence on May 1, 2008. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Xavier Catholic Church, P.O. Box 399, Junction City, KS and/or Hospice at Geary Community Hospital, c/o Geary Community Health Care Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, KS 66441.
Mrs. Davidson was born December 24, 1941, Junction City, KS to Jeremiah and Edith (Rash) Mullally. She was a graduate of St. Xavier High School class of 1959. She had worked at Burke's Drug Store, United Telephone and was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Bunker for many years before working for Civil Service as a Dental Assistant she later worked for MEDDAC as a Secretary from 1984 until 2003 when she retired. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church and a lifetime member of D.A.V.
She married Daniel E. Jackson, Sr. February 20, 1960 together they had two sons, Daniel Jr. and Matthew. She later married Billy Gene Perry November 3, 1979 he preceded her in death December 1, 1994, and later married Charles A. Davidson April 25, 1998 he preceded her in death January 9, 2003.
She is survived by her mother; Edith Mullally of Springfield, MO, her two sons; Daniel "Danny" E. Jackson, Sr. and wife Dana of Ft. Belvoir, VA, Matthew "Matt" M. Jackson and wife Sierra of Junction City, KS, one sister; Patricia "Patty" Brown and husband Richard "Skip" of Springfield, MO and seven grandchildren; Mattie Kay Jackson and Jake Matthew Jackson both of Junction City, KS and Danielle Jackson, Patrick Jackson, Breanna Jackson, Eion Jackson and Danny Jackson Jr. all of Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Pallbearers will be Craig Paxton, Chris Booth, Mike Ryan, Michael Wunder, Dennis Wetklow and Chris Schroeder
Musicians will be Manuel Pasquil and Crystal Foxworth
