Gary L. Auld

Memorial Service for Gary L. Auld, 64, of Junction City, Kansas will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Levi Kickhaefer of the Faith Lutheran Church will officiate. Auld died December 2, 2002 at Geary Community Hospital, Junction City, Kansas. He was born June 10, 1938, at Abilene, Kansas, son of Lester J. and Lorraine (Jameson) Auld. Gary graduated from Junction City High School. He later graduated from
Barber College. He worked for Chisolm Homes in Las Vegas for many years as
a Customer Service Representative. He also worked at J.C. Wire Harness from 1995 until his retirement in June 2002. Gary was a quiet man and enjoyed the simple things in life, such as family, friends, fishing, football, and a good joke. Survivors include One Brother: Orin Auld, of Junction City, KS; One Step-Brother: Ronald Hays of Topeka, KS; One Sister: Arvis Connolly of Colchester, VT; and Four Step-Sisters: Glenda Kracht of Junction City, KS, Marlene White of Topeka, KS, Arlene Blanco of Vida, OR, and Carol Jean Shoop of Elizabethville, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jarrell D. Auld. No visitation is being held, cremation is planned. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial tree at the Wakefield Arboretum, c/o Arvis Connolly, 71 New England Ave., Colchester, VT 05446.
